Multi-layer barrier sheet is used to thermoform high barrier packaging contianers normally used for aseptic, hot fill and retort packaging for foodstuff like fruit jelly, applesauce, meat stew and meat ball and so on.
Plastech¡¯s newly developed multi-layer barrier sheet is composed of 7 layers including EVOH layer as a barrier against oxygen and moisture vapor transmission to protect fresh taste, bright color, flavored ordor and extend shelf life of foodstuff in the containers. |

Polypropylene or Polystyrene can be used to produce customized structure of multi-layer sheet according to diversified requirements of containers.
They cap and protect barrier material in the middle layer from outside moisture and enhance the rigidity and other structural aspects of contianers. |
